A public information session to learn more about the future park development of the former Willow Glen Public School site will occur on Tuesday, May 15, 2018.

In May 2017, the City of Mississauga finalized the purchase of the former Willow Glen Public School site from the Peel District School Board. The site will now be home to a 4.92-acre community park. Based on previous feedback from residents, the park proposal will include an unlit soccer field, children’s play site, and walking trails. In addition, the City will be selling 6 single-family home lots along Utley Road to offset the cost of the school site. The size of the lots will be consistent with the existing lots in the neighbourhood.

The meeting will feature a presentation by City of Mississauga staff, including a session on community safety in parks by Security Services, followed by a group discussion, and a question and answer period. We are also hoping to get feedback on future playground layouts and different play elements.
