In a joint project with the PRCA, Clarkson Secondary School woodshop students will eagerly turn their skills to making houses for birds. The PRCA will cover the cost of the materials and will provide valued student community service hours as part of the program. Specifications for the bird houses were provided by the Credit Valley Conservation (CVC) to support species local to Park Royal.

The bird houses will be on sale from the PRCA Membership Registration Table on November 8, at the Clarkson Community at Peace Spaghetti Dinner at the Clarkson Community Centre. Consider getting a unique gift for the nature lover on your list.

To kick off the nesting season, an event is being planned in the spring by the PRCA in one of the parks in Park Royal. More details will available on the PRCA web site:
