The Park Royal Community Association is circulating a petition asking Mississauga City Council for the preservation of the current zoning (R2-Residential Low Density II) at 2620 Chalkwell Close (former
Elmcrest Public School site) instead of the proposed RM11-Residential Medium density zoning and to
consider our concerns of the height of the townhomes; the volume of people and traffic affecting Chalkwell Close, Karenza Road, Sandgate Crescent, Vey Road, Benedet Drive, Truscott Drive; the school zone safety impact at Kelly Road & Truscott Drive; and impact on transit, fire safety, and the environment of the Park Royal community.

The City of Mississauga requires that we use the official City petition template. Petitions on Change.org or other websites will not be considered by the city council.

The more signatures the Park Royal Community Association can gather, the stronger our case will be that the proposed development by Dunpar Homes does not fit with the community around Sandgate Park. There are simply too many townhomes that are too high with only one small road for access.

Please print a copy of the petition and gather signatures of your neighbours and friends concerned with this development. When done, please scan and email to prcaboard@parkroyalca.org or deliver it to the address listed on the petition. We have also created an information package that shows the planned development and the height of the townhomes that you may also print to help inform your neighbours and friends.
