Park Royal Community Clean Up 2022 - Rescheduled

Park Royal Community Clean Up 2022 - Rescheduled

Due to a cold and rainy weather forecast on Saturday, the community clean-up is rescheduled to the next day, Sunday, April 24th.

The remaining information below still applies.

We live in a lovely neighbourhood, but sometimes it can get a bit messy with litter laying around our streets and parks – especially after the snow thaws in spring.

Pitch in and keep our community beautiful and clean!

In the spirit of Earth Day, we are organizing a community clean up on Sunday, April 24th We will pick up litter on the main streets of Park Royal like Truscott and Bromsgrove, as well as along the banks of Sheridan Creek, the Nine Creeks Trail and local parks.

It’s a great way to meet your neighbours and do your part to keep the community clean. Rubber gloves and garbage bags will be provided. To participate, join us at 10 a.m. at the Park Royal Plaza sign at 2425 Truscott Drive.

Dozens of volunteers participated in 2018 and 2019 collecting over 40 bags of litter each year. Due to public health measures to combat the spread of COVID-19,.we weren’t able to hold group clean-ups in 2020 and 2021, but we are doing it again this year!

Please RSVP to the Facebook event to help us keep track of how many people will be participating, and to stay informed about last minute updates. If you don’t have access to Facebook please reply to this email and let us know you will be joining!
